About 20 years ago, friends suggested I make and sell focaccia at a newly opened farmers’ market in Wolvercote, Oxford. It quickly sold out. I suddenly realised that I had inadvertently combined the two loves of my life: people and food

Sharing what I know

That naturally led me to teaching Italian cookery. I love sharing the food I grew up with, explaining the traditions behind it and, occasionally, putting a few Italian food myths straight.

Today I teach at Honesty Cookery School and Abingdon & Witney College, as well as giving talks and demonstrations to groups including the Women’s Institute.

In the past I have proudly been part of Sophie Grigson’s Cookery School, Dancing Trousers, Denman college, Harborne School of Food in Birmingham.
